Amal Al Raisi the creative director for Dar-Al Aseel- a line of traditional abayas and jalabeyas has launched her very own clothing line on December 12 2015.

Omani local Al-Raisi unveiled her spring/summer 2016 collection which is very feminine, timeless and whimsical consisting of shades of peach, off white, blue and lots of lace and beading, she says modern women who are feminine but “not delicate” inspired this collection.

“By Amal Al Raisi is designed to honour Arab traditions, but my goal is for the pieces to be worn far beyond the borders of Oman,” says Amal. Prices range from about RO90 to RO600

The launching was held in Muscat at the prestigious Shangri-La Muscat hotel. Guests were given customized tote bags as keepsakes.
