Beauty blenders are amazing for foundation and concealer application. Some people may think $25 for a sponge is expensive, and opt to buy the cheaper dupes, which I personally do not agree with, since in most cases when you buy something that you plan on getting so much use out of for a much much cheaper price you will end up being not happy with the product, and so going out and getting another one, or better yet buying the same product that you originally refused to buy.

Beauty blenders come in four shapes, I will list the shapes and what is each one used for:
Tear drop: is used best with liquid makeup, such as any liquid primers, foundations, concealers, eye shadows, or blushes.
Bear: Has a great grip power, the top is used to blend the product on hard to reach areas around the eyes and nose. The bottom can be used to stipple. (bounce the sponge on skin, do not )
Spade: Is used for very precise work, perfect for applying concealer and to correct small mistakes.
Sculptor: Is used for heavy foundation application, mostly on the runway, photo shoots or whenever you know you have a long day ahead of you and need to keep your make up in tact.
How to clean your beauty blender sponge:
As we all know, dirty makeup tools lead to breakouts and uneven application, the beauty blender sponge needs to be cleaned frequently.
1. Dampen the sponge slightly. You don’t want it soaking, but you do want it moist enough to take in the soap.
2. Dab a dime-sized amount of liquid soap onto the stained areas.
3. Massage the soap into the areas, pressing and kneading it well. Work the stained areas well with your fingertips.
4. Add water and start to rinse. Squeeze the sponge rapidly and work the stains out during this process.
5. Keep rinsing and squeezing the sponge until you see no suds.Let dry in a well ventilated area
